InnoTractor, an Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, cloud and wireless technologies company has partnered with IoTerop, an IoT and device management software provider, to empower its IoT service platform named Gravity with expanded Lightweight Machine to Machine (LwM2M) capabilities.
IoTerop’s LwM2M ALASKA cloud-based device management platform enables Gravity to achieve more sophisticated lifecycle management capabilities, giving longevity, sustainability, and enhanced security to connected devices. It also contributes to the ease of connecting a massive number of IoT devices, a key service that InnoTractor is able to provide its clients.
InnoTractor’s Gravity IoT platform focuses on connecting all of an organization’s assets to make the data relevant and available in their systems. Through this data, Gravity delivers actionable business insights. Through its now enhanced scalability, it is able to manage mass roll-outs, as well as fast and easy mass-management of assets and data.
Frank Hermans, Founder of InnoTractor, says:
“We firmly believe that the LwM2M protocol is the future of IoT.”
“With established standards come the possibility of interoperability, and this is incredibly important when a company considers scaling the number of connected devices it’s managing. Managing 100 devices and managing 10,000 is vastly different, and LwM2M makes this process less complex by ensuring that different types of devices can communicate with and be managed by the same platform. IoTerop’s commitment to LwM2M technology and their contribution to defining standards with LwM2M’s creator, OMA SpecWorks, is one of many reason that we chose them as a LwM2M provider.”
“We are proud to partner with InnoTractor to offer enhanced LwM2M capabilities to its clients and offer the market a valuable tool based on the ideal of interoperability. We stand behind InnoTractor’s commitment to reduce waste, and a focus on interoperability means that companies are able to build a sustainable ecosystem of connected objects and diminish the chances of them becoming obsolete within a proprietary network.” says Hatem Oueslati, CEO of IoTerop.
InnoTractor’s Gravity platform infused with IoTerop’s ALASKA device management platform is planned to connect and manage thousands of IoT devices by the end of 2022.
