The Smart Building Expo (22-24 November 2021, Fiera Milano, Rho) is the Italian fair for home and building automation and system integration, this year focusing on integration and innovation.
Visit EnOcean at the EnOcean Alliance booth B36/B38 to discover sustainable EnOcean-based solutions for smart and energy-efficient buildings.
People spend around 90% of their time indoors. That’s why it’s no surprise that buildings are the biggest energy consumers of all, accounting for over 40% of global energy consumption. These numbers show that it’s important to create a healthy and comfortable living and working environment indoors and at the same time ensure an energy-efficient use of buildings. This can be done with EnOcean technology.
The Internet of Things (IoT) enables a digital twin of a building that visualizes the complete building including working areas. The prerequisite for this are sensors that collect the raw data and forward it, for example, to the cloud for virtualization. Self-powered motion and vibration sensors detect maintenance-free how many people are in a building or room, where and when. Wireless “peel and stick” sensors, switches and other devices with EnOcean technology provide the necessary data for improved space utilization, hot-desking concepts for employees, productivity improvements and many more applications.
