Ajay Bharwani, Global Head – IT & Technical Applications, Lupin has joined Writer Corporation as Group CIO & Head – Digital Transformation after a 2 and a half year stint.Writer Corporation is a multi-business enterprise that operates in the realms of global relocations, information management, cash management and realty. The Mumbai headquartered organisation has close to 10,000 employees.
Bharwani will be based out of Mumbai and report to the organisation’s Chief Corporate Services Officer.
In the new role, Bharwani will be responsible for leading the group’s technology function. The IT leads of the group’s various divisions will be reporting to him.
“I would be responsible for creating a roadmap for adaptation and implementation of technologies aligned with business strategy and operations; Mapping end-to-end user journeys to understand digital touch points and delivering IT solutions in ERP, CRM, Customer Portals, Mobile Apps, AR/VR & Chatbots; Driving change management & adoption programs for new projects,” he told ETCIO.
Bharwani has more than 29 years of professional experience and has worked with companies like Lupin, Ernst & Young, SAP, PwC, and L&T Infotech in the past.
Bharwani holds a Bachelors degree in engineering from the University of Mumbai.
