A modern design, protection against access by third parties and versatile installation options – the new fiber optic termination point OpDAT APL offers these and other advantages.
The OpDAT APL is perfectly suited as the termination point of the backbone network in the building. The housing is designed to accommodate microducts including gas blockers and offers space for up to 4 fibers. With its compact and attractive design, the OpDAT APL blends inconspicuously into any environment. With the safety screw and a lead seal, the housing can be protected against unauthorized access by third parties.
Easy to install
The removable splice cassette makes splicing work easier. Furthermore, the OpDAT APL can easily be installed as a surface-mounted housing or on mounting rails.
Accommodates microducts
With the OpDAT APL, it is possible to incorporate microducts including gas blockers and thus achieve a clean closure of the road network in the building.
High capacity
Despite the small size, up to 8 fibers can be stored in the housing.
Sealable
The housing can be protected from unauthorized access by a locking screw and a seal.
Compact Design
The small external dimensions and the simple design make it possible to install the OpDAT APL inconspicuously in any environment.
Furnishing
The OpDAT APL is always equipped with couplings and pigtails, so that the incoming fibers of the backbone network can be optimally stored and spliced. The singlemode clutches are all equipped with integrated laser protection flaps.
