As an educational establishment there are multiple different types of user, both visitors and employees, the aim was to better monitor and manage the flow of pedestrians.
The mWing was chosen after much consideration and close collaboration with the system integrator – Royal Technology Solutions – who advised moving away from previous specifications. The selection of the FlowMotion product line was made due to the reliability, warranty of the equipment along with the cutting edge mDure material used.
16 mWing units were installed. The mWing pedestrian gate is characterised by short opening times and flowing non-contact passage. The wing gates allow high visitor throughput thanks to rapid opening times. The gates have low impact forces for maximum personal safety and are free to move in the event of a power failure. The units have a great longevity; they have been designed for 10,000,000 opening and closing cycles
The mWing units were installed with HID RP10 access readers designed for door applications requiring a small footprint card reader. These readers offer a wide variety of credential technologies and are supported with a variety of form factors including; cards, fobs and mobile devices.
After a smooth installation, the products are helping manage the flow of people and add a level of security to the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy all whilst offering a great aesthetic finish.
The AGDA Facilities Manager has been really impressed with both the functionality and aesthetics of the mWing pedestrian passageway.
